The Celeron is a smaller version of Pentium, which has been designed such that everyone can afford it. On the one hand, the speed limit of a Celeron is around 2.0GHz; on the other hand, the speed of a Pentium is more than 3.0GHz. Pentium also has a lesser core voltage as it is more efficient in energy. However, Pentium is no doubt better than Celeron, but there are certain applications that work appropriately with Celeron processor. Celeron processors are also of fine Intel quality, but they do not edge over Pentium processors.

Overall Intel processors utilize less power and thereby generate less heat. The heat generated may lead to breaking of silicon that further may cause a short in the transistor and also burning up of the processor. For this, Intel duo processors are another option that is made available. The power consumption and heat is increased at the same pace as that of the clock speed of any processor. With a solution to overcome the problem of nano technology in the Intel processors, the heat is not a problem with them. The processor is usually made of - gold, silver, copper and aluminum.
