The quad core Alienware Area-51 7500 stands out as a better option because it is almost same as compared to the Core 2 Extreme X6800 tested on Adobe graphics and also on the gaming test while getting a slight lead in Nero based applications.

Intel chips have emerged as a clear winner in general applications and its office performance is also a marvel. The speeds and quality take a bit of a backseat when put up against the AMD chips but this is an area which Intel is working on. Very soon even this difference might vanish.
